  • Tax Accountant

    Jonathan Reeves

    Having worked for 20 years at leading accountancy firms and HMRC, Jonathan launched Tax Matters in 2008. He’s grown and developed the business in response to the ongoing changes in taxation and accountancy for both individuals and businesses.

    When it comes to tax matters, Jonathan will ensure your affairs are not only compliant with HMRC but more importantly that you only pay the tax you owe. If an opportunity is identified that would benefit the business or individual then rest assured Jonathan would not hesitate to bring this to your attention. 

  • Accountant

    Steph Usher

    Steph has been a member of the ACCA since 2012 having trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers CI LLP (PwC) in audit. From there she has worked for a variety of businesses, travelled, and taken some time out to be with her children.

    Since working for Tax Matters, Steph has helped clients manage their corporation tax, accounts and VAT needs. She loves working with different companies and is always up for a chat to see how she can help further.

  • Tax Adviser

    Jon Golding

    Jon is an experienced tax professional with a varied background, in the past, spanning the Big 4 accountancy firms, the Inland Revenue and independent practices, as well as advising private clients and trusts. Most recently, Jon has worked overseas in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, advising expatriates on tax planning solutions.

    Jon also spent 18 years working as a Senior Tax Writer and Editor at publishers LexisNexis Butterworths. He authored two of Tolley’s taxation annual publications, including 'Inheritance Tax', as well as co-authoring two books for Claritax 'Living and Working Abroad' and 'Advising British Expats'. Further, Jon has written articles for a wide range of tax publications including Taxation Magazine in the UK and Singapore Business Review.

  • Accountant

    Carly Smith

    Is an ACCA-qualified accountant who also has an interesting blend of experience gained over 15 years. Carly started her career in practices with Price Waterhouse Coopers.

    During her career, Carly has worked with businesses in multiple sectors and of varying sizes from sole director companies to large companies. She enjoys identifying tax-saving opportunities and is always available to discuss what opportunities are available.
